What does a power inverter do?
In the case of a Bribox , the voltage in the Netherlands (400V/50Hz) is converted into voltages for other parts of the world.
In this case it concerns 3 phases, also called power current, the following options are available:
- 200V/60Hz. Also see our page. testing machine on 208 volts
- 230V/60Hz.
- 400V/60Hz
- 480V/60Hz. Also check out our page testing machines on 480 volts .
- 575V/60Hz. Also check out our page testing machines on 575 volts .
If another voltage (e.g. 208V, 380V or 600V) or frequency (50Hz) is required, this is possible but not for every Bribox , in consultation almost everything is possible. Want to know more about the Bribox ?
Is a Bribox always a solution?
And why not!
The Bribox is a converter, which means that your own energy is converted into another form of energy.
If your mains connection is not large enough, there will not be enough power available to convert 400V/50Hz to another voltage to test and operate the machine.
However, the power remains approximately the same, which means that at lower voltage the current can be considerably higher than your incoming fuse . Are you interested in the Bribox ?
